Notes from past members

Lili Zhang - who played for Outaouais 1999-2003 joined the military in 2009 and is now a military doctor posted to Victoria BC. Her husband is also in the military and they have 3 children.  She is currently in the Arctic sailing with the Navy so is unable to join the gathering in Ottawa.

John Bishop (1971) lives in Australia: Thank you for the invite. Obviously will be unable to attend from Australia with Covid restrictions on travel.

From 1976 played and then coached Adelaide Uni Club ... then coached senior women,  including national reps and junior development teams. Stopped playing myself about 1991 when I went farming, but son played State age level and I team managed until 2015.

Please extend my congratulations to the club and anyone who might remember those crazy early days!

All the best to the Club for its future.  CHEERS John  ( 79 this year)

The Rewankar: Its been a pleasure to have Sanika play with you guys. Thank you for your positive approach and boosting their confidence while making the sport so much fun.

Jack and Linda Saddler:  Sorry that Linda (my wife) and I cannot attend (we now live in Vancouver). As Denys Cooper knows, we have many excellent memories of the collegiality , fun and "international perspective" that being part of the club provided. Wish we could be there and great job in becoming an "institution"!

Meg Hendy 1993-1995 lives in Hilton Head Island, SC:  Awe, so sorry I cannot make it this year. Please continue to invite me and sending well wishes to all.

Chris and Helen Jensen live in Australia:Congratulations for your 50th anniversary. We played with the club from 1978-1980 and enjoyed our hockey very much, especially the trips to Allentown, Tronna and Montreal. Best wishes for your continuing success.

Denise Obriain (Hudson, QC):  Sorry I can't make it. I miss you all. I have so many fond memories of our many tournaments together: Peter drinking out of my boot, embarrassing our waiter by ordering drinks with sexual names, road trip to DC, the Minute men, hotel beds that gave an electrical spark show, Bermuda tournament, etc.

Sue Burnham (nee Greaves): Wishing you well and an enjoyable get together with all those that are able to attend. Unfortunately I will not be able to make the event as I live in the UK and will be away.

Krista Wilson: I won't be able to make it from Vancouver this time, but if you have other events I'd love to stay informed. Thanks and have fun!

Joe Lobo (1970s) Thank you for your kind invitation to celebrate OutFH’s 50th Anniversary. Due to ill health Joe will not be able to attend. Thank you for thinking of him. Please keep in touch. God bless and best of luck!
