Dear Members of the Outaouais Club,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. We are excited to announce an fun opportunity for our Field Hockey players and their families – a Field Hockey tour to Holland during Easter 2024! This is following a very successful and similar tour that the club did in Easter 2022. At this point we are just seeking to gauge interest to decide if we should go ahead with further planning.
About the Tour:
Destination: Holland
Tentative Departure: March 24 or 25, 2024
Tentative Return: April 1, 2024
Activities: Participating in a Junior tournament in The Hague over the Easter weekend, playing against other clubs, and receiving training from experienced Dutch coaches.
Expected Cost: Between $2500 and $3000 CAD per participant (exact cost to be confirmed) Includes, airfare, accommodation, transportation, tour entry, tour clothing and some meals).
Chaperones: We will also need a few parent chaperones to accompany the players.
This is an exciting opportunity for our young athletes to immerse themselves in a different culture, enhance their field hockey skills, and create lasting memories with their teammates. The tour will not only include high-level competition but also cultural experiences that will enrich their lives.

The information gathered through this form will help us assess the level of interest and plan the tour accordingly.
Please submit your expression of interest by Nov 4, as this will allow us to determine if there is enough interest to move forward with planning. If there is enough interest, the next step will be a player/parent meeting where the club will present a more detailed overview of a tour plan.
