The club is organizing a Spring Junior League for high school age girls (14 - 19) with games on Wednesday nights between 6:00pm and 8:00pm running from April 30 to June 25.
Participants will have the option of:
playing in the league and participating in Club Junior training sessions on Sundays from 6-8pm beginning April and running until the end of July.

All players will be able to participate in pre-season/learn to play training on Wednesdays and Sundays during April.
Teams will play at least 1 game a week. The schedule should include at least 8 game dates.
There are currently 4 teams to choose from Riptide, Frantic, Stingers and Free Agents. New players can register to Free agents or a team with friends. The final rosters of the teams will be determined in April.

Come and give field hockey a try! Combining the large field play of soccer with the speed and stick-ball hand eye coordination of ice hockey and ringette. This is a 8 week program with training and mini-games twice a week. A great start for girls looking for a new sport or thinking about playing for a high school team in the future
Girls field hockey session for players going into grade 7-8. All levels of experience; beginners welcome!

Every player will receive an Outaouais reversible jersey and club field hockey socks.

Teams will be formed at the start of the season from the pool of registered players. If you have friends you’d like to play with, you can specify them when signing up, and we’ll do our best to place you together.

The club has secured an entry in the Mixed (max 3 males) division of the world famous Beach Bash tournament held in Delaware at the beginning of May.
The plan is to take 5 men, 10 women and 1 goalie. Registration is $100 per player. The registration fee covers tournament registration only. As a group we are working travel and accommodation plans and will share them as they develop. The fields are 30 mins from the beach!

If registration is full you will be put on a waitlist. If we can get enough of a waitlist before team registration closes in Feb, the club will try to enter a second team.

Baltimore Field Hockey Association is pleased to present the 25th annual
BEACH BASH
Adult Field Hockey Tournament
Saturday, May 3rd - Sunday, May 4th, 2025 at DE Turf
Location: DE Turf, 4000 Bay Rd, Milford, DE 19963
Times: Approximately 9am-3pm both Saturday and Sunday
Schedule: Each team will play a minimum of 6 games, approximately 30-35 minutes each (exact schedule will depend on the final number of teams).
Format: Full-field 11v11 on 5 turf fields; up to 30 teams will be accepted. Adults only; participants must be at least 18 years old (younger players will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will require a parental waiver).
Each player may play on ONLY ONE team.
Divisions: Mixed 1 (maximum of one male field player allowed; goalie neutral) Mixed 3 (maximum of three male field players allowed; goalie neutral)
USAFH: All players must be USA Field Hockey members, either with an annual membership or a temporary 2-day membership. Players without an annual USAFH membership will NOT need to obtain their own temporary 2-day membership; those will be provided by BFHA at no additional cost to you!
Uniforms: All teams are required to bring both WHITE shirts/shin guards and DARK shirts/shin guards. Numbers on shirts are preferred.
T-Shirts: Teams will be able to pre-order Beach Bash tournament T-shirts again this year! Pre-ordered T-shirts will be available at a discounted rate and will be
distributed at the tournament. Details for pre-ordering T-shirts will be sent to registered teams at a later date. T-shirts will also be available for purchase at the tournament!
Waiver: All participants must sign a waiver (which will be distributed to registered teams) to play in the tournament. Participants who are under 18 will require a waiver from a parent or guardian.
Weather: In case of inclement weather, tournament organizers will reach out to teams via email and on the Facebook group (BFHA Beach Bash). If the tournament is canceled due to inclement weather, partial refunds will be granted.
Rules: Beach Bash will follow FIH rules, with slight modifications specific to this tournament (e.g., length of games). A full list of rules will be circulated to all registered teams.
